Ideal package for answers to specific questions on a case or a diagnosis requiring at most standard immunohistochemistry (antibodies are available in your laboratory).
It is necessary to have a slide scanner and it is the expert who, depending on the type of pathology, will propose this package. Accepted formats are : .svs, .tif, .bif, .vms, .scn, .vmu, .ndpi, .svslide, .mrxs, .jpeg, .png

Our expert will interpret your scanned slides and answer your questions via the secure platform of TERASCOP. If necessary, he will suggest you to carry out additional ancillary tests, which he will interpret once digitized on our platform.

If these tests cannot be performed in your laboratory or if the expert wishes to interpret the case with his own methods for more convenience, he will propose a postal shipment of the sample.

Suggested by the pathology expert : Package suggested by the expert as a second step if the diagnosis requires molecular tests or the shipment of your histological material

Leadtime : Estimated number of working days to obtain the second opinion upon reception of your histological material. These leadtime are purely indicative and may vary during holidays.

Payment : Credit/Debit card or bank transfer available from Terascop platform. If you wish to set up another way of payment please contact us. We will be happy to find together the most convenient payment solution for you.

Transport : The return transport of your histological material is included in the price. If you want Terascop to take care of the collection and the initial routing an extra cost of 70 euros will be applied.

If the mailing of your histological material or if molecular tests need to be performed to reach the diagnosis, the expert will propose to upgrade your package. Only the difference between the package initially paid and the new package suggested will be paid.

You remain free to refuse the package upgrade proposal. Your refusal or absence of decision within 7 days from proposal will lead to the issuance of the pathology second opinion report with reservations and your request will be considered finalized.
