If you wish to obtain a second opinion, we invite you to contact one of the following persons :
- Your doctor
- Your surgeon or oncologist
- The pathologist author of the initial pathology report
If they agree, these people will be able to apply for a second opinion via the TERASCOP platform.
Why Terascop does not allow patients to directly access its services?
The reliability of the pathology second opinion depends in particular on the quality of medical records.
Also, when processing the second opinion, the expert may require additional medical records.
Finally the pathology second opinion provided by the experts remains purely advisory. Healthcare professional who applied for a second opinion remains the only person responsible of the final diagnosis. He may or may not accept the conclusions of the second opinion. In any case, you are and must be informed by your healthcare professional of the content and conclusion of the issued second opinion.
